Transportation is a critical need in our community
that we often don’t think about. This month, join us
as we focus on transportation and how you can
volunteer with us to help ensure equitable access to
transportation for everyone. Check out our array of
volunteer opportunities, from introducing older
adults to public transit to fixing bikes for
low-income children. Got a car... or a bike? Deliver
meals to homebound seniors through Loaves & Fishes.
Enjoy working behind the scenes? Be a strategic
planner or volunteer receptionist for Ride
Connection, which connects older adults and people
with disabilities to transportation. Whatever your
interest, take some time this month to give someone
the gift of mobility!

in the life of an older adult or person with a
disability? Love to drive? Ride Connection, a community
non-profit working to serve the transportation needs of
older adults and people with disabilities is currently
seeking volunteer drivers in the East Multnomah County
area.
Going somewhere in your car? Be a One-way Driver!
►
Ride Connection
Tuesdays, 5:00-7:45pm
(Multnomah
County)
Going somewhere in your car? Why not offer a one way
ride to older adults and those with disabilities who are
unable to drive and access public transportation? You
can offer a ride during various times throughout the
day, you determine your own availability, and you give
the gift of mobility to an older adult or someone with a
disability. Join our pool of volunteer drivers today!
Grocery Delivery Drivers Needed
► Store to Door
