 Welcome
to Oregon AmeriCorps Alums! We are in the initial stages of
building a comprehensive AmeriCorps alumni network in
Oregon. Our goal is to build a statewide alumni chapter
that includes all streams of service.
The mission of
the Oregon AmeriCorps Alums Chapter is to support
AmeriCorps alumni from VISTA, N*CCC and State and National
programs living in Oregon, with activities which promote a
lifetime of service. The goals of the chapter are to
mobilize alumni to provide service to the community, to
create a network of mutual support for AmeriCorps members
and alumni, and to assist in advancing national service.

Volunteer at the
Waterfront Blues Festival
Saturday, July 5, 6-10pm Join us
for some red, white and blues and volunteer at the
Waterfront Blues Festival benefitting the Oregon Food
Bank. Don't miss your chance to help fight hunger
in Oregon and to listen to some great tunes. Be part of
the AmeriCorps Alums team of gate volunteers as we
collect and sort donations of food and money, provide
information and act as goodwill ambassadors for the

Ongoing Opportunities
We're currently recruiting AmeriCorps members and Alums
to serve in a variety a capacities. Get involved with
one of these great opportunities to designed to work
around your schedule.
Project Leaders
Service Project Leaders organize, lead and manage our
monthly volunteer projects. We'll provide you with the
training and support needed for you to set up projects
that fit your interest and availability. This is a
flexible commitment-- you can lead as many or as few
projects as you would like. For more information about

Social Hosts
Set up a game night! Organize an Alums group to attend a
trivia night. Become a Social Host. We're looking for
Alums to set up and lead monthly social opportunities.
