Hands On Greater Portland works in partnership with hundreds of community-based agencies to provide volunteers with a variety of meaningful opportunities for service and leadership. Hands On Community Partners must meet the following criteria:

• Designated by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, school or government entity. Political campaigns are excluded from Hands On partnership.
• Located in Multnomah or Washington County, Oregon.
• Does not discriminate in its staff, board, volunteers, volunteer committees, or recipients of services on the basis of a person’s race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, ancestry, marital status, veteran status, or mental or physical disability or any other status prohibited by applicable law.
