Spruce Up the Soccer Field at James John (age 8+) *STW 2015*
Operation Pitch Invasion strengthens communities through soccer.
OPI develops soccer fields and futsal courts in our City's parks and schools so that kids of all ages have high-quality and safe playing surfaces to enjoy the beautiful game.
These projects improve communities by bringing people together over a shared project, a shared park, a shared fundraising goal, and a shared game. Our work brings places for play to underserved neighborhoods and supports after-school programming in schools and community centers. And our volunteer projects make park improvements that City budgets can't touch. And this where you come in..
Celebrate Stand Together Week 2015 and join Operation Pitch Invasion to restore the soccer field at James John Elementary School! Volunteers will be adding new nets to the goals, spreading bark around the field, cleaning up the school grounds and more.
Volunteers age 16+ are welcome to volunteer on their own.

All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a Hands On Youth Waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian. (print it now, fill it out, and bring it with you to save time during project check in).
