Join the Library Book Brigade! (age 10+) *MDD 2015*
Love books? Libraries? Events? Join a great group of volunteers to set up the semi-annual Friends of Hillsboro Public Library Book Sale.
Book lovers, organizers, and alphabetizers, this is the project for you! We have 800 boxes of books to unpack, sort, and organize for sale. The book sale raises funds for new Library books and materials that inspire curiosity and encourage learning.
Hillsboro Public Library enriches and strengthens our community by supporting the pursuit of connection, inspiration, and lifelong learning.
Just bring yourself in a pair of closed-toe shoes!

Project Requirements:

Volunteers must be 10 years of age or older to attend this project; any volunteer under age 14 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.

If you plan to bring your children or other guests to the event, you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team. You can then sign up your team for this project.

All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a Youth Volunteer Release Form signed by their parent or legal guardian. Please download, complete, and bring this waiver with you on the day of the project.
