Help Ensure That Bars Do Not Tolerate Sexual Predators! (age 21+) Referral
We envision a world with diversity and respect where all people live with their fundamental human rights intact including full autonomy over their own bodies.
Over the next couple of weekends, we need volunteers to help us approach bars and ask them to sign a pledge to ensure that their bars are a safe space and that they have no tolerance for sexual predators in their bars.
What we are asking from you:
Join us for a weekend day or two-- we will give a basic training on the program and sexual assault prevention. After the training, we will divide volunteers to approach managers of several bars to see if they are willing to sign our pledge before April 1st (Sexual Assault Awareness Month). You will learn about how to be an active bystander, and work alongside some awesome folks that are passionate about making our communal spaces safe and enjoyable for everyone.
By volunteering with us on this campaign, you are helping to protect this fundamental right in a space where it is too often violated-- bars.
