Improve Trails at the Tualatin Hills Nature Park (age 12+) *STW 2016*
Tualatin Hills Nature Park has approximately 5 miles of trails that wind through a mosaic of beautiful natural areas. Volunteers will break up into teams to resurface portions of the soft-surface trails in the park that have gotten mucky during the winter. Folks may also assist in other trail improvement activities, like pruning vegetation along the trail, clearing debris, etc.
Please park in the parking lot at the park. Volunteers must wear close-toed shoes, like tennis shoes or hiking boots. Long pants and long-sleeve shirts are also recommended.
The mission of the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District is to provide high-quality park and recreation facilities, programs, services, and natural areas that meet the needs of the diverse communities it serves.
Note: Volunteers age 12-14 may volunteer along with a responsible adult.
Project Requirements:

All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a Hands On Youth Waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian. (print it now, fill it out, and bring it with you to save time during project check in).

IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible for ensuring that everyone signed up through your team attends - only sign up team members who have confirmed their availability. Teams that repeatedly sign up, but do not show up or show up with fewer volunteers than they signed up, may be removed.
