Sell Christmas Trees for L'Arche! Hollywood Lot (age 16+) *Hands On*

Help people find the perfect Christmas tree to benefit L'Arche Portland, a community-based nonprofit that transforms the lives of people with and without intellectual disabilities.  At L'Arche Portland, we create home and build community, sharing daily life together.

Our Christmas Tree Benefit Sale is a major fundraiser for L'Arche Portland, helping us build a nurturing and empowering community that fosters an environment of love, respect, person-centered support and mutual relationship.

New volunteers are encouraged to join in the tree sale. We think you will find it an incredibly rewarding way to share your gift of time.  L'Arche Portland community members often visit the lots to help out or greet customers.  You will almost certainly make new friends and learn more about our community as you interact with other volunteers, customers and community members.

Volunteer shifts, usually 3 hours in length, will involve shift selling trees with and to some of the friendliest folks on earth! Hand warmers and refreshments are provided. A warming shed is available to get out of the weather, but please dress warmly and be ready for anything mother nature has to share with us!

The sale takes place at two locations; the Montavilla lot at SE 82nd and Burnside and the Hollywood lot at NE 44th and Hancock. The shifts below are all at the Hollywood location.

*This project is great for individuals, families and groups. It is always lots of fun and your volunteer time helps to support a great organization.

If you also have weekday availability, please click the link below to check for additional volunteer shifts.
