Good Deeds Day! (all ages) Various Shifts

Good Deeds Day is an annual celebration of volunteerism and community service, happening this year on Sunday, April 15, 2018. Family-friendly activities are available throughout this special day – giving volunteers of all ages the opportunity to perform a mitzvah or two, or three!

Presented by the Jewish Federation of Greater Portland in partnership with the Mittleman Jewish Community Center, Good Deeds Day is open to volunteers of all faiths.

Let’s put into practice the simple idea that every single person can do something good, be it large or small, to improve the lives of others and positively change the world. Let’s do some good in Portland!

Projects occur between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Volunteers can chose their project/volunteer shift when they sign up by following this link to the full project list:  www.jewishportland.org/GDD. Special teen oriented service projects (J-Serve) for 6th-12th graders available in consecutive time slots. Service learning hours available.
