Family Promise Day House Volunteers (age 18+) Referral
Do you enjoy children? Would you like to help families in need? Family Promise, an emergency shelter in Hillsboro for homeless families, could use your help!
Volunteers are needed to keep the Day House open so families in the program have a home base during the day. Varying shifts, days (including weekends), and time commitments are available, though most shifts are 2-3 hours, and the need is ongoing.
We provide orientation, training, and a variety of tasks are available. Please help us work toward ending homelessness in our community!
A background check is required and the minimum required age is 18. We cannot accept volunteers who are fulfilling community service hours.
