RSVP in Multnomah County is a non-profit program which connects individuals age 55+ to volunteer opportunities where they use their life experience and skills to make positive contributions in the community - at no cost to you!
Volunteers provide a wide range of services determined by both their interests and the health and human service needs of the community. These opportunities may include, but are not limited to, supporting children and schools through tutoring and mentoring activities, peer counseling, providing nutritious meals to low income families and older adults, supporting older adults through transportation and visiting in their homes.
We work with thirteen non-profit agencies in Multnomah County to provide meaningful volunteer opportunities for adults Age 55 and over.

Our services are totally free to both you - the volunteer - and the agencies who need volunteers! Plus, as an RSVP volunteer, you receive supplemental insurance coverage for while you are volunteering!

Opportunity Requirements
- Volunteers must be 55 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity.
- Volunteers will be asked to fill out an RSVP enrollment form, as well as intake forms required by their chosen volunteer site.
- Volunteers will be required to provide proof of drivers license and insurance if driving to, from or during the course of volunteer opportunities.
- A desire to serve for the good of the community
