Librarian for a Day (age 12+) *MLK 2012*
Ledding Library is welcoming volunteers into their space to help keep things organized for the community!
Volunteers will work together to dust the shelves, put all items in alphabetical or numerical order (we call it shelfreading) and look for any damaged items that need to be taken off the shelves.
Volunteers should wear comfortable clothes as they will be bending, sitting and possibly light lifting. Clothing may get a little dusty.

The Ledding Library of Milwaukie serves the people of Milwaukie by providing materials and services that meet their informational, cultural and recreational needs. We provide a wide range of services as well: story hours, reading clubs and craft programs are provided to the children of our community. Adults enjoy Ledding Library's book club and our cultural and musical programs. Computer and Internet access are provided for all ages.

Project Requirements:
- Please fill out this MLK Adult & Youth Waiver and bring it with you to the project. All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.
- Volunteers must be 12 years of age or older to attend this project; any volunteer under age 13 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
- If you plan to bring children or guests you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team, then sign up your team for this project.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible for ensuring that everyone signed up through your team attends - only sign up team members who have confirmed their availability. Teams that repeatedly sign up, but do not show up or show up with fewer volunteers than they signed up, may be removed.
