Offer Respite Care and Support to Families Affected by Lupus (age 14+)*MLK 2012*
Molly’s Fund has a monthly support group for lupus patients, and with your help, we want to make January 2012’s meeting a special event!
On January 14th, we’ll invite our support group members to bring their entire families for a fun day of bonding and community support.
Volunteers will assist us in taking care of the children of lupus survivors with fun and educational games. We’ll also be putting together care packages for our support group members during their meeting. Afterwards, we’ll put together a healthy meal for all of us to enjoy.
The women in our support group who suffer from lupus have to struggle just to preserve their health, while maintaining their families and jobs. We want to lend a hand and demonstrate our appreciation for the courage they demonstrate every day.

Project Requirements:
- Please fill out this MLK Adult & Youth Waiver and bring it with you to the project. All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.
- Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older to attend this project.
- If you plan to bring children or guests you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team, then sign up your team for this project.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible for ensuring that everyone signed up through your team attends - only sign up team members who have confirmed their availability. Teams that repeatedly sign up, but do not show up or show up with fewer volunteers than they signed up, may be removed.
