Restore Chantal Village Park (age 5+) Referral *MLK 2012*
Be one of 2,100 volunteers honoring the legacy of Dr. King through meaningful service to communities throughout the Greater Portland area.
Join us as we remove Himalayan blackberry from along the confluence of Beaverton & Willow Creeks in Chantal Village Park. Please wear long pants and closed toed shoes. If possible, please bring heavy-duty work gloves and a re-usable water bottle to drink from throughout the day. Extra tools, refreshments and a water cooler will be provided. Your support is greatly appreciated.
The Natural Resource Department exists to ensure that natural communities within Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District are respected, appreciated, maintained , protected, enhanced and restored as an integral part of planning and operations.

Opportunity Requirements:
- Volunteers must be 10 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 14 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
