Plant Natives at Fulton Park (age 6+) *MLK 2012*
What: Help plant native shrubs and trees in the natural area near Fulton Park with Portland Parks & Recreation City Nature.
Where: Fulton Park is located near the Fulton Community Center at 68 SW Miles Street, just off of SW Barbur Blvd. We will meet near the playground.
Why: native plants help diversify the habitat in our urban natural areas, which supports our local wildlife and forest function
Volunteers need to know: Please dress to get dirty and be outside. Long pants, closed-toe shoes and a rain layer are a must. Portland Parks & Recreation will provide work gloves and tools. Please bring a water bottle if you have one.

Project Requirements:
- Please fill out this MLK Adult & Youth Waiver and bring it with you to the project. All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.
- Volunteers must be 6 years of age or older to attend this project; any volunteer under age 14 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
- If you plan to bring children or guests you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team, then sign up your team for this project.
