LGBT Senior Wellness Fair (age 12+) Referral
It's the Gay & Gray Expo - a health, eduction and wellness fair for LGBT seniors and allies. It's the largest event of its kind in the US, so we're looking for volunteers like YOU to help make it successful!
Registration, workshop/presentation assistance, lunch help, set-up and tear-down, and more. The event is all day, but even just a couple volunteer hours is helpful.

This event is hosted by Friendly House's Gay & Grey program. Friendly House creates a thriving community by connecting people of all ages and backgrounds through quality educational, recreational and other life-sustaining services. Friendly House’s mission is guided by the values of personal development, integrity, compassion, reliability and vitality.
Friendly House’s programs include preschool, K-5 after school, senior case management & activities, LGBTQ senior services and activities, transitional housing for homeless families, and community center. We also offer classes, meeting space, full court basketball, fitness room, internet center, weekly dodgeball, drop-in basketball, and more.
Opportunity Requirements:
- Volunteers must be 12 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 14 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
**This is a Referral Opportunity, which means it is run directly by one of our nonprofit partners. Once you express interest, someone from the partner organization should follow up with you shortly to discuss confirming you as a volunteer for this opportunity.
