Art from Zimbabwe: Behind the Scenes (age 16+) *Hands On*
Zimbabwe Artists Project is a non-profit organization based in Portland that works exclusively with artists, mostly women, from Weya - a rural area in eastern Zimbabwe. Our goal is to assist these artists in supporting their families through their own creativity. Volunteers are needed to prepare the art for shows and events after it arrives from Zimbabwe. This is a great way to become familiar with Zimbabwean folk art and also to begin to make connections to these very real and wonderful people so far away. Join us for beautiful art, Zimbabwean music, and refreshment!
Project Requirements:

If you plan to bring your teens to the event, you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team. You can then sign up your team for this project.
- Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to attend this project.

All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian. Please download, complete, and bring this waiver with you on the day of the project: Youth Volunteer Release Form
