Provide Peer Counseling to Seniors (age 55+) Referral
Provide Peer Counseling to adults age 60 and over going through life's challenges.
Join the dynamic group of Peer Conselors who volunteer for VIEWS: Volunteers Involved for the Emotional Well-Being of Seniors.
As a VIEWS volunteer, you will receive extensive training, learn new things through free classes, and be able to offer support to people your age and older who need someone to listen and provide a new take on coping with life's difficulties.
YOU MUST:

Be able to volunteer in Multnomah and Clackamas Counties

Be compassionate and caring

Have an ability to engage in an on-going learning process through training and clinical supervision

Must go through a background check, provide references and successfully complete training.

As a volunteer age 55+ you are offered this opportunity through RSVP which provides volunteers with additional benefits including free supplemental insurance, recognition and the support for finding meaningful volunteer opportunities in our community.
