Help Deer Creek Neighbors Swap Ivy for Natives (age 10+) *CCD 2013*
Join over 1,800 volunteers for Comcast Cares Day 2013!
Neighbors on Deer Creek are working together to remove English Ivy and replace it with native plants. Volunteers will be removing ground and tree ivy and possibly planting some native plants to provide habitat and improve the Creek.
Volunteers should wear long sleeves, pants, and sturdy close-toed shoes and please bring a water bottle. Note that we will be working on a slope.
Expect to get dirty, work outside, and have fun!
Project Requirements:

Volunteers must be 10 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 15 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.

All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a Hands On Youth Waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian. (print it now, fill it out, and bring it with you to save time during project check in).
