Stewardship Work-Party at Hedges Creek Marsh (age 5+) Referral

Join The Wetlands Conservancy for a stewardship work-party at our Hedges Creek Marsh preserve in Tualatin!

Volunteers will help Wetlands Conservancy staff with general stewardship activities on the site, including securing protective tubing around native plants, flagging new plants and removing invasive species that are encroaching on the site.

Tools, gloves, tea, snacks and water will be provided. Wear knee-high rubber boots if you have them. The Wetlands Conservancy has a limited supply of boots, in various sizes, for volunteers.

Opportunity Requirements:

  • Volunteers must be 6 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 16 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
