Seize the Trees for Parke Diem! (age 5+) Referral
Hoyt Arboretum Friends is excited to partner with the Parks Foundation on Parke Diem! Last year we had over 100 people at the Arboretum, we cleared enormous piles of ivy, cleaned the Himalayan blackberry from an entire hillside, built a fence, re-potted plants, and more. We also had a great time and can't wait to do it again!
Friday from 9-12pm volunteers will be helping out with re-potting plants that have outgrown their current homes, trail work, and preparing ground for new plantings on Saturday.
Saturday from 9-12pm we'll be planting, removing ivy, hauling debris, and doing some more trail work.
Kids with adults are welcome we'll make any accommodation we can to make this event accessible for anyone interested in participating!

Opportunity Requirements:

Volunteers must be 6 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 15 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
