Parke Diem at Tryon Creek Park! (age 5+) Referral
Announcing the biggest volunteer event in Portland parks history!
Saturday, October 12th, 2013
"Parke Diem" is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit-powered initiative for park-loving people and organizations to unite, achieve, and raise awareness of our park systems' needs. The Portland Parks goal is to enlist over 30 projects and 1,000 volunteers to create a new, highly visible tradition for the role citizens play in safeguarding and advocating for their park system.
Whether you're already involved in a park-related group and are curious about joining or you're are a park-loving citizen wondering how you can get more involved, we want to hear from you!
Tryon Creek will be one of the sites of this exciting event, hosting an ivy pull from 9am-noon. A light breakfast and cool t-shirts included!

Opportunity Requirements:

Volunteers must be 5 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 15 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
**This is a Referral Opportunity, which means it is run directly by one of our nonprofit partners. Once you express interest, someone from the partner organization should follow up with you shortly to discuss confirming you as a volunteer for this opportunity.
