Help Out at the Soul Stroll Wellness Walk (age 10+) Referral

The AAHC is excited to announce that we are hosting our 11th Annual Soul Stroll Wellness Walk on August 17th, 2013! This event brings together the community to CELEBRATE, raise awareness of health disparities among the African American Community, and raise funds to sustain the physical activity program. Higlights include food, music, dancing, massage, and more.

In order to make this event as, if not more, successful as it has been in the past, we need your help! This is a fun, active short-term volunteer position that gets volunteers out into the community. It is also an essential aspect of organizing the event.

While each volunteer will be given a defined position with specific tasks, we need you to remain flexible as our needs may vary with unforeseen changes.

Volunteer roles include:

  • Event Set-Up

  • Food Booth Coordinators

  • Children's Booth

  • Route Monitors

  • Water Station Monitors

  • Post-Walk Greeters

  • Extra Hands Volunteer

  • Event Clean-Up
