Let's Organize the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington (age 16+) *MLK 2014*

Since 1989, the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington has served the health care needs of the uninsured members of our community. Sometimes an operation of this size needs a little TLC to keep running smoothly! We are looking for volunteers to help with filing, organizing, and cleaning for our Medical and Dental programs. Many of these tasks are suitable for people with limited mobility. Come help us keep the Free Clinic organized and efficient so that we can continue providing compassionate and quality care to the underserved!
Volunteers may dress casually. As some of the volunteers may be cleaning, we ask that you wear clothing suitable to that task. Please wear closed-toe shoes.
Project Requirements:

You must be 16 years of age or older to attend this project.

All volunteers are required to sign an MLK Volunteer Waiver (print it now, fill it out, and bring it with you to save time during project check in). Volunteers under 18 are required to bring a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian.

If you plan to bring children/additional volunteers you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team, then sign up your team for this project. Questions? Email teams@handsonportland.org
IMPORTANT NOTE: You are responsible for ensuring that everyone signed up through your team attends - only sign up team members who have confirmed their availability. Teams that repeatedly sign up, but do not show up or show up with fewer volunteers than they signed up, may be removed.
