Help Out at Bridge to Brews Event (age 16+) Referral
As the proud beneficiaries of Bridge to Brews, we are recruiting 70 volunteers to make the run, ‘run’ smoothly! It’s a really fun event and your valuable donation of time helps Molly’s Fund Fighting Lupus!
Where: Lilis-Albina Park located at North Flint Avenue and Russell in Portland, Oregon.
When: Sunday, April 6th 2014
Time: Volunteer Shifts are from 6:30am- approximately 1:00pm
Here are the positions and descriptions from which to choose (All volunteers must be 16 years of age or older):
Registration and Results/Merchandise- Help register runners at the start of the race, staff the results table, and assist with the merchandise booth. This is a good option for any interested volunteers with mobility limitations.
Beer Pouring/Alcohol Monitors- Assist with serving and pouring beer. Volunteer who sign up for this shift may be assigned to another area initially at the start of the event. Must be 21 or older.
Food/Kids Area/VIP Area- Assist with distributing food, monitoring the VIP section, and helping to run the kids area.
Start & Finish Line/Water Stops- Help monitor the start and finish lines, and keep the runners supplied with water and refreshments. This is an active shift, and volunteers who select this option should be ready to be on the move!

Molly's Fund Fighting Lupus' mission: To educate the public and the medical community about lupus, to push for earlier, life-saving diagnoses for those afflicted, and to spur governments and foundations to fund research toward a cure.
