Opportunity Details

Kids! Homes for Gnomes! (all ages) *Hands On*

Hands On Managed projects offer you an opportunity to join a group of volunteers on a done-in-a-day project led by a Hands On Volunteer Leader

Bring the family out to volunteer with The Wetlands Conservancy for a fun filled day at one of our wetland sites!

A habitat is the home of an animal, a bug, a plant, or any living creature. Come and look at the habitats of all the creatures that live in the wetland and learn about how they live! We'll help clean up the wetland to make their habitat even better. Then, we'll create some habitats for gnomes that might want to live in the wetland!

Bring mud clothes and rain gear and be prepared to get a little dirty. We have lots of gloves to share, but bring rain boots if you have them (we will have some, in limited sizes, to lend out). You're welcome to bring binoculars and cameras to get closer or longer-lasting looks at birds and other wildlife.
