Restore the Natural Areas of Tualatin Hills Nature Park (age 14+) Referral

Come out to one of the most beautiful and pristine parks in the area to volunteer! Help us remove invasive plants, maintain trails, and plant native trees and shrubs throughout Tualatin Hills Nature Park.

Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District is a special service district that provides parks and recreational opportunities for citizens of all ages in Beaverton and other areas of eastern Washington County.

Your participation helps ensure that everyone has access to nature!

Please bring heavy-duty work gloves and a re-usable water bottle to use throughout the day. Extra tools, snacks, and a water cooler will be provided!

Volunteers will meet inside the Tualatin Hills Nature Park Interpretive Center, located at 15655 SW Millikan Way in Beaverton (97006).

Opportunity Requirements:

  • Volunteers must be 10 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity.

  • If you are a court-ordered volunteer please email the Opportunity Coordinator (below) at least 24 hours prior to the event. 

**This is a Referral Opportunity, which means it is run directly by one of our nonprofit partners. Once you express interest, someone from the partner organization should follow up with you shortly to discuss confirming you as a volunteer for this opportunity.

**Please note, your hours may not be recorded in your Hands On Greater Portland account since this is a partner-managed opportunity.
