Summer Reading Party at Shute Park Library! (age 14+) *STW 2014*

Join the Shute Park Hillsboro Public Library for a big Summer Reading Kickoff Party to encourage kids to participate and read this summer! The Shute Park Branch Library was closed for renovations last summer, so we want to get this one off to a really amazing start!
Volunteers will staff craft stations and games, serve snacks, help with special storytimes, and register kids for Summer Reading. We serve a lot of Spanish speakers at this location, so any volunteers with Spanish language skills will be in high demand!
Note: Volunteers must be age 14+ to volunteer on this project.
Project Requirements:

All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a Hands On Youth Waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian. (print it now, fill it out, and bring it with you to save time during project check in).

If you plan to bring children/additional volunteers you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team, then sign up your team for this project. Questions? Email teams@handsonportland.org
