Summer Wellness Event @ Virginia Garcia! (age 18+) *STW 2014*
Help kick off our summer programming at the Wellness Center, get kids moving around more, help address childhood obesity and run our adolescent well child checks! Patients and community members will be in attendance.
Volunteers will help run brief clinic of one hour each for 3 hours doing a series of skill drills to help youth get active and learn new soccer skills!
Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Also, dress for the weather and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated!
At Virginia Garcia, the mission is to provide high-quality, comprehensive, and culturally appropriate primary health care to the communities of Washington and Yamhill Counties with a special emphasis on migrant and seasonal farmworkers and others with barriers to receiving healthcare.
Note: Volunteers must be age 18+ to volunteer on this project.
Project Requirements:

All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a Hands On Youth Waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian. (print it now, fill it out, and bring it with you to save time during project check in).
