Build Science Kits for Kids (age 14+) Referral

AKA Science is a fun, hands-on after school science program for students in kindergarten through 6th grade. Kids participate in hands-on activities and experiments that nurture their curiosity and help them explore the world around them. AKA Science uses structured yet playful activities to get kids excited about learning. Students are asked to think about how things work—and they discover that science is fun!

Come in and help us prepare the AKA Science Program for Spring classroom experiments. Volunteers are needed to count, sort and bundle supplies for the upcoming term. It's easy work, but there's lots to do! This is a casual, low-key volunteer opportunity for anyone who enjoys organization, team-work, learning and fun!

There's flexibility around what time to come on a particular day, though a commitment of at least 2 hours would be great! Up to 12 volunteers are needed for each day.

Multiple Shifts Available:

  • Friday Sept. 12th: 1 - 4pm

  • Monday Sept. 15th: 1 - 5pm
