Bowling and Pizza with International Students (age 18+) Referral
Are you interested in world cultures and are curious to make real connections with international college students? This is a great oppotunity to share your sense of global community while having fun. Our students love to meet new people and it means a lot to them to share their activity experiences with locals. Plus, free bowling for you!
Meet us on campus at 2:45pm and we will provide the transportation to the Kellogg Bowling Alley. We will bowl for a while and then return to PIA for some pizza. Please help activity staff clean up after the event. We will provide the costs for bowling.
We are seeking punctual, outgoing volunteers who are interested to meet and interact with people from different cultures. We will request that you sign a liability waiver and participate and interact with students while bowling. Please start up conversations to get to know our students through the course of the activity.
The goal is to have at least one volunteer with each group of students bowling, so if you want to pair up with a friend who is volunteering, let us know that ahead of time. Also, if you prefer to meet us at the bowling alley by coming with your own transportation, let us know as well. Hope to see you there!
