Camp Namanu's 90th Anniversary Celebration! (age 16+) Referral
Campfire exists to Build Caring, Confident Youth and Future Leaders.
Camp Fire operates through two main sets of programs: summer programming and school-year programming. Summer programs include day and residential camps that extend the school year for kids and provide safe and fun activities for them during the summer. This anniversary event is an outreach to our "lost" alumni who may have lost touch with the organization over the years. The 90th celebration will help us bring together pieces of our history and re-integrate an important stakeholder voice into the future.
Volunteers will be helping with activities and logistics at the event. Tasks include:

greeting at the parking lot

helping with registration
-
directing individuals to the silent auction and answering questions about items

signing people up for monthly pledges
-
driving supplies and people around on golf carts
-
selling soda
-
helping the band with their equipment
-
oversee kids' games
-
help with facepainting
-
serve as a ranch assistant - help with horses and other ranch tasks
-
general event hosting - answer questions, provide directions, & serve as a runner
-
cleanup support
Upon signing up you will be sent a preference survey by the organization contact. Plan to wear comfortable clothes and shoes for an all-day outside event. Other instructions will be relayed after volunteers have filled out the preference survey.
We are looking in particular for photographers or OLCC-certified individuals to serve beer and wine at the event. If you fit this criteria, please immediately contact Katie Frederick at kfrederick@campfirecolumbia.org. Thank you!

Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 18 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
