ARCHIVE Art in the Pearl! (age 16+) Referral
Art in the Pearl - a Fine Arts and Crafts Festival - is a three-day outdoor celebration of art, theater, and music, with demos and hands on art activities for people of all ages!
Come visit one of the top juried art fairs in the country and become part of our team by volunteering to work in several inspiring areas of our show, including:
- Helping at the Kid’s Art tent
- Booth sitting for our talented artists
- Helping in the volunteer/artist hospitality area
- Helping inform the public about the artist installation projects
- Set up and tear down of event site
Volunteer shifts are available:
Friday 8/30: 12-4pm & 2-6pm
Saturday 8/31: 8-11am, 10-2pm*, 11-3pm, 2-6pm
Sunday 9/1: 8-11am, 10-2pm, 11-3pm, 2-6pm
Monday 9/2: 10-2pm, 11-3pm, 2-6pm
*Note: our greatest need for support is the 10-2pm shift Saturday through Monday.
All volunteers will get a free t-shirt with a beautiful image of last year's best-in-show winner and the Art in the Pearl logo. Want to get involved? Click "Express Interest" below and an Art in the Pearl representative will contact you!

Opportunity Requirements:

Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity.
There is a minimum four (4) hour time committment for this opportunity.
**This is a Referral Opportunity, which means it is run directly by one of our nonprofit partners. Once you express interest, someone from the partner organization should follow up with you shortly to discuss confirming you as a volunteer for this opportunity.
**Please note, your hours may not be recorded in your Hands On Greater Portland account since this is a partner-managed opportunity.
