We STILL Can Do It! Voter Registration Action Day (age 13+) Referral
The Bus Project engages new folks in democracy, builds a great future and empowers great people to lead it, right here in the great state of Oregon.
We're putting this event together to engage young women and their friends, giving them the tools to get people in their community politically active.
To celebrate the 94th anniversary of women's suffrage, we will be registering folks all around the Portland metro to vote! We'll meet at the South Park blocks at noon for a speech from a special guest, dressing up as Rosie the Riveter (bring your own denim shirt and we'll provide the red bandannas!), a pizza lunch, and training. Once you feel comfortable knowing how to register people, we'll send you around Portland from the Pearl to Laurelhurst Park to Pioneer Square to Providence Park and everywhere in between.
We're hoping to see lots of engaged, excited young women (and dudes too) there who are enthusiastic about political action and making democracy work.
Opportunity Requirements:

Volunteers must be 13 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity; any volunteer under age 16 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.
