NW Ciderfest Event Volunteers (age 18+) Referral
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is proud to serve the neuromuscular disease community through our research, health care services, advocacy and education programs. This October, help support our programs by volunteering at the NW Ciderfest on October 11th at Pioneer Courthouse Square!
NW Ciderfest offers a variety of fun and rewarding volunteer opportunities, volunteers will receive an event t-shirt, lanyard, 3 non- alcohol event tickets and have an assigned job description.
Shift 1: 7:00 am – noon (set up, training, event starts at 10:00)
Shift 2: 11:30 am – 5:00 pm (training and volunteer)
Shift 3: 4:30 pm – 9:00 pm (training and volunteer, breakdown)
Event Monitors – 30 volunteers per shift.
Event monitors will be available to assist guests with questions, monitor entrances and exits, assist with wristband checking and I.D. enforcement and alert logistics staff if trash needs to be removed or if any situation at the event needs to be addressed. Volunteers in this position need to be prepared to be walking and standing most of the shift and be over 18 years of age.
Ticket Sales – 10 volunteers per shift.
Work in the ticket booth selling wristbands and individual tickets. Being comfortable with financial transactions including using credit card machines and checking I.D. when selling wristbands. Volunteers in this position will be standing or sitting for most of the shift. Over 18 years of age requested.
