Put Down Roots in Tualatin for Family Volunteer Day! (age 5+) *Hands On*

Hands On Managed projects offer you an opportunity to join a group of volunteers on a done-in-a-day project led by a Hands On Volunteer Leader

Tree planting is one of the most enjoyable volunteer opportunities. You can get dirty, breathe some fresh air, have numerous conversations, meet lots of new people and get a great sense of achievement at the end of the day as you look back over the next generation of trees.

By putting down roots in Tualatin you will have a direct impact on the health of our environment and the future of our neighborhoods! Get your hands dirty at community tree planting events October through April. Our goal is to plant 10,000 trees!

It is important to wear sturdy shoes or boots and dress for the weather (e.g. warm layers and a rain jacket or sunscreen). Also note that m
any of our plantings this season will be in neighborhoods and we ask that you park in designated areas and walk to the check-in area.

Hot coffee, chocolate, and snacks are provided. You can earn a water canteen or volunteer t-shirt by participating in three events.

Want to bring a big group? Please use the "Email" button below to check in with the coordinator first.
