Kinship House Facility Clean Up (ages 16+, 13+ if attending with an adult)
Kinship House was started in 1996 as an outpatient mental healthcare provider for foster and adopted children in the Portland area. We champion the successful permanency of each child we care for as we strive to understand their unique stories and needs as they journey to a forever home. We are seeking community help in cleaning up our therapy spaces. Thank you!

Build a greener community: Native Plant sale at Portland Audubon
Portland Audubon's mission is to inspire people from all walks of life to enjoy, understand and protect native birds, wildlife and the natural environment on which we all depend.
As part of this mission, we hold large annual native plant sale each spring. We need volunteers to assist with the sale- as plant re-stockers, cashier assistants, and our take down crew (Sunday afternoon). Come join other garden enthusiasts to make the Portland area one of the greenest in the nation!

Stronger Together 5K Walk, Run, and Roll (ages 16+, all ages if attending with an adult)
The Stronger Together 5K Walk, Run & Roll is one of the Ronald McDonald House Charities' biggest fundraisers of the year, and proceeds help provide a "home away from home" for families staying at one of our three Oregon houses in order to receive medical treatment for their seriously-ill child. Volunteers will be helping with every part of the 5K event. There are roles available in set-up, registration, greeting, prize distribution, passing out water, creating excitement and celebrating the participants, entertainment, and event take-down. This is a great volunteer opportunity for individuals or groups!

Stewardship Saturday!(ages 16+, 7+ if attending with an adult)
Columbia Springs strives to offer a unique setting and educational experiences that foster a greater awareness of the natural world and inspire stewardship. We do this by maintaining a 100-acre natural area, which is open to the public every day and utilized by school field trips throughout the school year. Join Columbia Springs at one of our Stewardship Saturdays! These events are perfect for volunteers who want to spend a couple of hours working outside in Columbia Springs' beautiful natural area. Projects typically include planting trees, removing invasive species, trail maintenance, and improving the accessibility and safety of the site. Columbia Springs staff and trained volunteers will be on site to guide you through this event. Columbia Springs will provide snacks, tools, gloves, training, and guidance.
