English Tea Volunteer Team (ages 18+, 16 if attending with an adult)
Leach Botanical Garden is a lovely public garden with trails, an historic Manor House, and seasonal plants of interest located in a woodland hollow created by Johnson Creek in southeast Portland. The garden features northwest native plants and other unique collections, and is a place of beauty, respite, learning, and exploration that is open to all. The English Tea is a key fundraiser for the garden and is only possible due to the many helping hands of volunteers. There are many jobs available from serving to plating sandwiches to washing china.
