Stewardship Saturday!(ages 16+, 7+ if attending with an adult)

Columbia Springs strives to offer a unique setting and educational experiences that foster a greater awareness of the natural world and inspire stewardship. We do this by maintaining a 100-acre natural area, which is open to the public every day and utilized by school field trips throughout the school year. Join Columbia Springs at one of our Stewardship Saturdays! These events are perfect for volunteers who want to spend a couple of hours working outside in Columbia Springs' beautiful natural area. Projects typically include planting trees, removing invasive species, trail maintenance, and improving the accessibility and safety of the site. Imagine Possibilities Center provides services and programming for youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. One of the most popular programs at the center is Horticulture Therapy which takes place in the Sensory Garden.

We depend on the support of volunteers to help maintain the garden and work on group projects that allow the therapeutic programming to take place. Projects are led by Horticulture Therapist Peg Falconer, and vary based on need and volunteer interest, and may include weeding, hauling dirt, digging, building, and creative projects.

Imagine Possibilities Center is located at 4450 SW 184th AVE, Aloha, OR 97007. There is a parking lot in the front of the building and the Sensory Garden is accessible from the parking lot. It is to the left of the bright blue building.
