TEEN project: Salvage Building Materials: Rebuilding Center

Agency: Our United Villages: Rebuilding Center

Description:

Please note, this project is an opportunity specifically for teens ages 14-18 to volunteer. This project is also led by a teen project leader. All volunteers will need to bring a waiver signed by a Parent/Guardian; please click on the link below to download: Youth Volunteer Release Form  and  The Rebuilding Center Youth Volunteer Waiver

Reduce, recycle, reuse! Help reduce the flow of building materials into the waste stream by volunteering at The Rebuilding Center's non-profit store for used building materials. We'll be doing a hands-on project, so come ready to work and have fun!

Please note: closed-toe shoes are required. Also, please dress warmly or in layers as the warehouse is chilly and some work may be done outdoors. Please bring work gloves if you have them. Note: some tasks may involve medium to heavy lifting.

Meet your volunteer group inside the doors in the Cob structure (facing Mississippi Street), and please be as punctual as possible.
