* Salvage Building Materials: Rebuilding Center

Agency: Our United Villages: Rebuilding Center

Description: A Hands On Greater Portland volunteer leader will lead this project. No advance training or ongoing commitment required. Need help signing up? Call 503-200-3355.

Reduce, recycle, reuse! Help reduce the flow of useable building materials into the waste stream by volunteering at the Rebuilding Center's non-profit store for used building materials. We'll be doing a hands-on project, so come ready to work and have fun! Closed toe shoes required and bring work gloves if you have them. Wear warm clothes as the building is chilly. Some tasks may involve medium to heavy lifting. Youth welcome with parent or guardian. Enter thru Cobb structure doors. Please be as punctual as possible.

This project is great for families and youth age 14 and over. Volunteers under age 18 will need to bring a waiver signed by a Parent/Guardian, click on the link below.
