| Care for Cats with Cat Adoption Team |
Agency: Cat Adoption Team (C.A.T.)
Description:
Me-ow! The Cat Adoption Team is the Pacific Northwest's largest feline-only cat shelter located in Sherwood, Oregon. In a decade of service to this community's felines and the people who love them, CAT's mission has remained the same: to work with our community to save the lives of homeless, sick and injured cats and kittens by offering shelter, adoption, foster, hospice, spay/neuter and veterinary services to end needless feline euthanasia.
Volunteers will help deep clean the free-roam rooms at the Cat Adoption Team shelter in Sherwood. We will be using a mixture of bleach and water to clean the rooms. The cats will still be in the rooms during this project. This project will require some lifting, bending, and twisting. If this project is completed early, then we will ask you to help out with other tasks around the shelter including cleaning carriers, doing laundry, etc.
We recommend wearing clothing that you do not mind getting a little furry or bleach on. Please note, this project is only open to those ages 18 and over.
