Be the change. Volunteer.
Love Letters at Lunch Time

Agency: Agency for Social Change

Description:

Create personalized greeting cards to be given to sick children (some with terminal illness such as cancer) across the country. Use markers, construction paper and other fun craft items to create cards that will brighten a child's day. This project will tug at your heart-strings! Bring kleenex.

And, if you're feeling extra charitable, you can donate a few stamps. Supplies will be provided, but please bring any craft items you would like to use to make your cards. We are always in need of extra supplies, like construction paper, glue and markers. Have any extra stamps lying around? You can donate them to help send the letters out to kids!

Join a group of volunteers on a done-in-a-day project led by a Hands On Greater Portland volunteer leader. No advance training or ongoing commitment required, so sign up and participate in a project that fits your schedule.
