| KIDS Volunteer! Tree Planting - Family Day of Service |
Agency: City of Tualatin
Description:
This Family Day of Service will give families the opportunity to help the Tualatin River. Many of the trees in the natural area of this park are beginning to go into decline. Now is the time to plant the next generation. Plant trees so your children and grandchildren can return to watch their trees grow. You and your shovel can improve our parks, rivers, and creeks! This is a wonderful opportunity for families and groups! Dress for the weather, wear close-toed shoes that can get wet and muddy. We have a supply of tools, if you bring your own tools make sure they are well marked. We provide drinking water.
This is a project open to volunteers ages 12 and up. All volunteers under 16 must attend with a Parent/Guardian. Volunteers under 18 must bring a waiver signed by a Parent/Guardian; please click on the link below to download: Youth Volunteer Waiver
