County CROPS is an emergency food garden on idle Multnomah County surplus property that will be farmed for fresh, healthy produce for hungry families through the Oregon Food Bank network during the economic crisis. Join us for the inaugural farm day as we prepare the two-acre plot for the summer planting season. Bring your gloves, your strong back and a dose of flexibility as we assemble for a morning of work.
This project is great for families with kids of all ages. Youth under 16 must attend with a parent/adult chaperone. Volunteers under age 18 must bring a waiver signed by a Parent/Guardian; please click on the link below to download:
