Help Seniors with Housing Apps-in Spanish! (age 25+) Referral
Northwest Pilot Project helps seniors (55+) find and keep affordable, safe housing. In addition to some staff who are English/Spanish speakers, we have a volunteer position to assist our Spanish speaking seniors (55+) in filling out housing applications.
You must be fluent in Spanish and English! We have a training program to teach you about affordable housing and housing applications. This is hands on! We have a fun, creative and passionate staff who truly believe in our mission. This volunteer would meet with a different client or two every couple weeks, one to two times a week. Each meeting would be about 2 hours.
The Northwest Pilot Project offers opportunities for a life of dignity and hope to very low income seniors in Multnomah County by solving housing and transportation needs. Our clients are 55 years old and older. The volunteer will impact this mission by reaching an even greater marginalized population and helping them attain permanent housing.
