Planting at River View Natural Area (age 6+) *MLK Weekend*

Join Portland Parks & Recreation and Friends of River View Natural Area for a morning of restoration in this 146 acre park in SW Portland. Volunteers will focus their efforts on planting native plants in the natural area. Tools, gloves, instruction and snacks will be provided. Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes and bring a water bottle.
Volunteers will meet at park entrance at SW Palatine Hill Rd and SW Brugger St. Street parking is available but please be considerate to not block any homeowners driveways. Thanks and see you there!

Project Requirements:

Volunteers must be 6 years of age or older to attend this project; any volunteer under age 14 must attend with a parent or adult chaperone.

If you plan to bring your children or other guests to the event, you MUST reserve slots for them. The best way to do this is to create a Volunteer Team. You can then sign up your team for this project.

All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a waiver signed by their parent or legal guardian. Please download, complete, and bring this waiver with you on the day of the project: Youth Volunteer Release Form
