*ARCHIVE Inspire Kids to Eat Healthy! - Market Sprouts Activity Lead (age 14+)
Hillsboro Farmers' Markets grows community connections and promotes economic growth by providing healthy local produce and products.
Help kids engage with local farmers and get to know where their food comes from! Weekly activities will be provided free of charge for all kids attending the market. Market Sprouts Volunteer support will include interacting with kids and families, running educational activities, and tracking participation.
As a volunteer with the Market Sprouts program, you can help youth learn more about the impact that the Hillsboro Farmers' Markets make on individuals, families, and communities. You can connect with your local growers and producers to make new friends and learn more about local produce support.
The Hillsboro Farmers' Markets run from April to October, and volunteer help for the Market Sprouts program is needed on Saturday or Sunday AM/PM. Come join the fun and help kids and families learn more about how their food is grown!
