After School Program at Garden Home Rec Center (age 14+) *MLK Weekend 2019*

Join us in honoring the legacy of Dr. King through meaningful service to our community: "Everybody can be great... because anybody can serve."
-- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Mission: The mission of the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District is to provide high-quality park and recreation facilities, programs, services, and natural areas that meet the needs of the diverse communities it serves.

The Nature & Trails Volunteer Program fosters stewardship and understanding of natural resources by empowering volunteers to provide environmental education programs and enhance wildlife habitat.

For this service project, volunteers will assist staff in the After School Program. The ages of youth participants are between 6 - 12. THPRD staff will coordinate volunteers into activity groups. Volunteers will be able to engage with youth by leading games, activities, and craft projects.

Register to support providing recreational programs and classes of the highest quality that are affordable, accessible and safe. Make a impact on a child's life!
