Seeking Drivers to Pick-up Food Donations at Grocery Store (age 16+) Referral
Neighborhood House is a leading Portland nonprofit social service provider, delivering innovative, life-changing programs for low-income people of all ages and backgrounds. Our programs include the largest food pantry on the west side, early childhood education that prepares children for success in school and life, affordable housing to support families to move beyond poverty, and senior support for those who wish to continue living independently.
Neighborhood House (NH) is seeking weekly volunteers to pick-up food donations at the QFC in Sellwood and deliver to the NH Food Pantry.
The NH Food Pantry is the largest food pantry on the west side of Portland and has served over 10,000 individuals in the last year. Grocery store donations make it possible to have a fully stocked food pantry and support our food-insecure neighbors.
Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity.
